The Academy’s Subcommittees
Constitution committee
The primary responsibility of this committee is ensuring that the Constitution of the Academy is upheld. In addition, it is this committee’s responsibility to keep the constitution up to date with current guidelines in oral medicine.
Education and Scientific Committee
The primary responsibility of this committee, is providing guidance and leadership in education and research for the Academy. This sub-committee organizes Scientific and Continuing Professional Development meetings.
Credentialing and Peer Review Committee
The primary responsibility of this committee is liaising with appropriate regional Boards, Councils and Universities in matters of credentialing, accreditation and peer review processes in oral medicine. This committee has responsibility for the Academy’s Fellowship Examination leading to Fellow of the Oral Medicine Academy of Australasia.
